After obtaining a Master's degree in Geosciences and then in Science Communication, I specialised in science journalism. I joined CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) as a science writer in 2011 and have been a member of CERN’s Internal Communication team ever since. My expertise covers topics such as particle physics and accelerator science, astrophysics, and Earth sciences in general.
In July 2025 I graduated with a master’s degree in physics from the University of Manchester. During my degree, I spent a year on a communications placement in the Particle Physics Department of the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), working to explain their research to a range of internal and external audiences. I was also an award-winning student science journalist and Science and Technology Editor of my student paper, the Mancunion.
